Indiana-raised Jeremy Radway has taken a circuitous route to get from home to here. Naming his band after writer Kurt Vonnegut's first novel – and with Bowie/Reed/Lennon influences oozing out of his pores – Radway released his debut EP, Into the Dark, in 2009.
Since then, he has collaborated with Scotland’s Fence Collective and toured with King Creosote, but Radway clearly had other ideas bubbling away in the background.
Radio Love is the result of such musings, and it's a cracker of a debut album that blends canny pop hooks and intuitive creativity with musical-hero hints that never spoil the final results. Songs such as Sleeping Silver Horse, My Name will be a Myth, Baby Gets Down, and the title track steer him towards – well, what else but radio love?
