Well, Pop Corner readers, we’re as close to Christmas as we’re ever going to get (we’ve already necked a bottle of brandy) and what better way to celebrate than with Hurts’ very own brand of happy-sad. With bells a gogo, and accompanied by an amazing graveyard’n’ ladies’n’snow video, the besuited duo complain that Christmas is no use – it’s all about the 31st. Looks like they didn’t get what they wanted in their stockings again.

** N-DUBZ WATCH

Dappy’s boy child: it is with great pleasure that we announce a particularly fitting missive from this week’s N-Dubz Watch. Dappy’s a dad again! Baby Milo Contostavlos (now that’s a mouthful) was born to girlfriend Kaye (also mum to Dappy’s son Gino). We’re delighted for the couple, and hope that Auntie Tuls will be gifting Baby Milo some quality outfits.

** In weirder relationship news, perma-tanned Peter Andre appears to be dating ex-Sugababe Keisha Buchanan (you know, the one that wasn’t Mutya or Siobhán). According to a source, the two have been on a few dates, and have even been filmed together at Pete’s house for his ITV2 reality show. However, Peter’s ex-wife Jordan is “still very keen to be in contact with Peter, and to know what’s going on in his life. This will be a real shock to her.” Looks like Keisha will have to remain a Mysterious Girl for a little while longer.

** Using perhaps the best excuse we’ve heard in a long time, Disney hottie Selena Gomez has denied any relationship between herself and the Bieb. The teens were spotted together walking arm-in-arm after eating at a pancake restaurant in Philadelphia. However, when questioned, Gomez explained to MTV News that “We were both performing in the same place so we went and had pancakes together. That’s all it is. All innocent”, adding sagely: “It was pancakes. Who doesn’t like pancakes?”
