For fans of tougher electronic fare, this is a double bill to whet the appetite. Italian DJ and producer Mauro Picotto (below) has been winning friends for nearly 20 years. It all began at home on the back of monster tracks for Media Records, before he gained a rep abroad as a DJ who could crack any dancefloor with big-boned anthems. Aside from popping up at every major trance bash on the calender, Picotto has been heavily involved in recent years with the Meganite events. He also got around to releasing a new album ( 2010).

Larne-born Robert “Fergie” Ferguson has taken a few left turns of late away from the hard house with which he first made his name towards a more techno and house style. This has seen him work with Umek, James Lavelle (for some Unkle remixes), Slam and a string of others, while his DJing schedule has taken him across Europe from Sonar to EXIT.
