Marcus Lambkin, the man behind Shit Robot, was last in these parts at the Forbidden Fruit festival, where he revved up the live show and took the audience for a bit of a groove. Despite initial reticence about taking his From the Cradle to the Rave album on the road, Lambkin (left) has become a seasoned live operator, with much of the last two years spent touring, including opening for LCD Soundsystem at that last Madison Square Gardens show in April 2011.

Inbetween the touring, Lambkin has worked in the studio on interstellar electro jams Space Race/Teenage Bass, the first in the Green Machine series for DFA.

Support at both shows from Lil’ Dave, with Billy Scurry also on the bill for Dublin.
