What's on your rider?Ginger, hummus, blueberries, chorizo; pretty standard – it often gets ignored and we wind up with beer.

And the worst?Professor Green at Glastonbury this year. Opinions were divided as to what to watch that night and, Sadly, the Professor didn't meet anybody's expectations.

Who is the most famous person to have shown up at one of your gigs?Pixie Geldof was playing at a show I did in London recently. I think she stuck around for my set. so I reckon that half counts.

What's your crowd-pleasing number? Love Is a Bitter Thing.

Chatting between songs – good or bad?If it's honest and if it suits the artist it's good. Every crowd will need to be related to with varying degrees of subtlety, I think. Sometimes I want to just play, but I think it's a mark of respect to interact verbally at some point.

Groupies. Would you?Never!

How many roadies does it take to change your lightbulbs (ie, how big is your entourage)?I'm pretty sure my guitarist's girlfriend could do that.

Have you a special stage wardrobe? Not really, but on several occasions we've all turned up wearing striped T-shirts. Slight faux pas, but I think we can rock the convict look.

Do you like to meet and greet fans after the gig?I love to meet people, always.

Any useful stage tips?Never underestimate the value of the stripey T-shirt look. Just get everyone wearing stripes. It never fails.

Who's invited to your aftershow party?Everybody who is anybody, of course.

What's your best tour story?120 mph on the Autobahn? Oh, yes!
