Dimensions is a weekend of underground music in an abandonded fort in Croatia and the festival's annual Dublin launch is always a decent night out. On this occasion, Darshan Jesrani is the main draw, the Brooklyn disco don from Metro Area who has since had releases and productions for Startree, Permanent Vacation, Rekids and Mock & Toof. Support from London-based Brazilian, Afrobeat and house selector Sean OD, the Dimensions Sound System and assorted Bodytonic DJs.

Much of Nick Höppner's career has centred around his work at the Berghain stable. Aside from his residency at the club, Höppner was also the manager of their in-house Ostgut Ton label for many years. A prime contributer to the label, Höppner's various releases have showcased his skills when it comes to lush house, dubby techno and richly embellished electronic music. Support from Lumigraph, Gareth Smyth's well respected alter-ego with releases for Mister Saturday Night and Major Problems, and Sexshop.

If you're after dark and heavy techno, VSK is the man to call. Born and raised in Rome and now based in Berlin, Francesco Visconti has received the thumbs up for his productions from such labels as Perx Trax, Power Vacuum, Planet Rhythm, Modularz and many more over the course of his career. Aside from his own releases, Visconti has recently collaborated with Serbian artist Scalameriya. Support from Eoin Donovan and Jake Nolan.

Flexure is a heavyweight techno coming together of Bastard Electrico grand poobah Jamie Behan and fellow Irish DJ Stephen Mahoney. Apart from their Shadow Puppets debut EP from earlier this year, the duo have also seen a good response for their trippy acid techno live show which has already featured at Tresor in Berlin. Support from Ryan Morrison and James O'Carroll.

Possibly the biggest gathering of Irish and international musical talent in the Premier county since Feile was last in Thurles. There are three stages in all hosting such names as Ejeca, Jacob B, Deviate, Enrico Sangiulliano, Dan Stritch, Strictly Deep and dozens more. Any stray greyhound fans who venture out today won't know what's hit 'em.

Another cracker for underground music fiends in the southeast with Lee Holman topping the bill. Aside from regularly togging out for Bastardo Electrico, Holman has also featured on bills worldwide at venues like Tresor, Corsica Studios and 8Bahn. As a remixer, Holman has worked with people like Aubrey and Gary Beck as well as releasing tracks for his own Kawl imprint as well as Raw Waves, Orbis and many more. Support from Seems Legit residents Eddie Galavan and Jamie O'Neill.
