Cork 2005: In January 2004 the newly-formed Everyman Palace Studio launched a call for plays by emerging playwrights, and for the last month have presented readings of the first fruits of this initiative.
Next Saturday sees the reading of Saving Lives by Alan Healy, directed by Thomas Conway as part of the theatre's promotion of new dramatic writing. Beginning at 4pm, (tickets €6) readings so far have included work by Liam Heylin and Joseph O'Malley, directed by Tom Creed and Oonagh Kearney.
