One of the west's biggest antiques fairs takes place tomorrow in the Corrib Great Southern Hotel, Galway. With more than 50 stands, the Connacht antiques and collectables fair, which starts at 11 a.m., will be attended by some 60 dealers. Total value of the items for sale is in the region of £2 million and this includes a wide variety of goods, such as furniture, jewellery, paintings and prints, coins and stamps, silver, porcelain and china, rare and antique books, militaria and miscellaneous curios.
