Never known to be a shrinking violet, Shirley MacLaine expressed her disapproval of the poster for In Her Shoes, in which she plays the grandmother of sisters played by Cameron Diaz and Toni Collette.

At the movie's Toronto press conference MacLaine was asked why she was not featured on the poster with the two younger actresses. "If it was just Cameron, I'd understand," she replied. "If it's Toni and Cameron, I should be in that poster, too."
