Straight from the author's mouth

Judith Miller, author of Millers' Antiques Guides, will be at Waterstone's bookshop on Dawson Street, Dublin, next Thursday at 6.30 p.m. A new edition of the guide will be available, and she will speak of her own interest in the subject and how she first became professionally involved.

A number of Dublin antique dealers will offer free advice to anyone present who wishes to bring along small, portable items for assessment. The bookshop is also running a free quiz on the night, with a raffle prize of a mahogany chair which dates from circa 1830.
