The four remaining Spice Girls have told Dotmusic that, although they will stay together as a group, they will also pursue solo projects. Scary Spice, Mel B, will be recording with rap star Missy Misdemeanour Ellitt, and Sporty Spice said "there will be more solos and duets, just to make it interesting for fans".
Embrace have grabbed the Number One slot with the release of their debut album, The Good Will Out. The "new Oasis", which features brothers Danny and Richard McNamara, are signed to Hut Records, the same label as The Verve. (See feature above.)
