A DAMAGED first-period Beleek figure of a crouching Venus was the top selling lot, at Herman & Wilkinson's recent antiques auction, fetching £3,100 under the hammer.
A white marble lion and lioness fetched £2,800; a 19th century Blackamoor lamp table made £1,500; and a 19th century profusely carved oak breakfront bookcase went under the hammer for £1,300.
