The Co Galway set for the award-winning film, The Field, has been put on the market. The cottage and farm used as the home of The Bull McCabe, played by Richard Harris, is to be auctioned later this month.
The cottage is located at the foot of Glenacolly mountain, giving a panoramic view of the Erriff Valley. It comes with out-offices, storage sheds and a cart house. The adjoining 32-acre hill farm, which is used for grazing sheep, is also for sale. It comes with a one-sixth share of 4,500 acres of common-age mountain grazing.
