An Irish woman who died while rock-climbing in Spain is understood to be 21-year-old Dublin student Eve McCarthy.
Ms McCarthy, from Shankill, was killed in a fall at a popular climbing area near Malaga.
She was a final-year student of physiology at University College Dublin. She previously attended Loreto Abbey school in Dalkey.
The King’s Inn bar in Dalkey, where Ms McCarthy worked, said in a Facebook post that it would be closed until Tuesday as a mark of respect.

“Terrible news, our deepest condolences to Eve’s family and colleagues in The Kings Inn. May she rest in peace,” a member of the public said on Facebook.
“What dreadful news. Sincere condolences to all her colleagues and her heartbroken family. What a lovely girl,” another person added.
The incident occurred near to the village of El Chorro close to the Caminito del Rey pathway. The area the climbers were in is called the Swiss Sector next to a hiking area called the Arabic Staircase. She is understood to have fallen about 150m.
Her body was recovered by emergency services. A male friend she was with survived.
The survivor told police the pair lost their balance and went over the side of a ravine.
A spokesman for the force in Malaga said: “I can confirm the woman who died was an Irish 21-year-old.”
The nationality of the man she was with is not yet known. Last month a British climber died in the same area.
The Department of Foreign Affairs said it is aware of the woman’s death and is providing consular assistance.
