Kiehl’s Peter Max Holiday Collection Various prices
Every year Kiehl’s collaborates with a designer to produce a quirky and colourful edit of some of its bestselling products.
Now it’s the turn of pop artist Peter Max, whose designs grace the packaging with an explosion of colour. These are great fun and will make super gifts.
Trilogy Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm €24.90
Natural oils blend with mango butter in this make-up remover to create a solid balm.
Scoop a tiny bit out and massage into dry skin; as it melts it will remove make-up. Warm a facecloth under the tap and wipe off the excess.
I would advise double cleansing with this one to make sure you’ve de-grimed properly if wearing a full face of slap.
Kevin Murphy Young Again Masque €32
Many of us use harsh hair colour and abuse our hair on a daily basis, and yet we are often surprised when it fails to remain shiny and healthy-looking.
This deep-conditioning masque is packed with amino acids, proteins and seed oils and will do your locks good. Get a trim while you’re at it. You’ll be a new woman.
Catrice Deluxe Trio Eyeshadow €5.39
Three varieties of this baked shadow trio in brown, grey and aubergine provide soft colour with a shimmer finish. Great price and lovely autumnal shades.
Giorgio Armani Maestro Brush Collection From €45
If you’ve never heard the terms “nodge”,”sarae-dori” or “fude” until now, don’t worry about it: neither had I. They’re technical terms to describe Japanese brush-making technology.
Armani has used these techniques to create an 11-strong professional brush collection that is sure to have make-up junkies all a-flutter.

Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser €39.50
The cleanser, which contains plenty of skin-friendly acids, works hard. The AHAs will gently exfoliate dead skin cells while removing grime. The BHA (salicylic acid) works deeper down to clear out blocked pores and make skin appear smoother.
This is a great cleanser for mature, dehydrated or congested skin; your serum and moisturiser will sink straight in afterwards.
