Fans of luxe label Hermès have two dates to take note of. To celebrate its 175th year in business, Hermès is auctioning four Passe-Guide bags, in an online-only sale. Representing Ireland is an emerald bag in alligator that comes with a four-leaf clover and an eyewatering estimate of €27,410-€29,901.
The auction launches on Monday and runs until May 31st. Separately, the Hermès Elegance sale takes place on May 30th at Christie's South Kensington auction house, and sees 68 Hermès handbags go under the hammer. Lot 304 is a bougainvillea-coloured leather Birkin bag from 2011 (€6,227-€9,964); lot 307 is a red leather and toile Kelly bag from 1973 (€2,491-€3,736). christies.com/hermes
