House of Peroni's photographic love story to Italian style

Stylist Aisling Farinella and photographer Richard Gilligan will present a documentary-style collection of images featuring the people, places and details of Italian style

The House of Peroni opened last week, showcasing the best of contemporary Italian food, drink and design. No.1 Dame Lane has been hosting several floors of Italian based entertainment such as a cocktail bar, food from Michelin starred chefs, an Italian cinema, a rooftop terrace and a series of ticketed events and talks.

But what Italian themed house would be complete without a nod to the world of fashion? Stylist Aisling Farinella, who is herself half-Italian, and photographer Richard Gilligan will present a documentary-style collection of images featuring the people, places and details of Italian people and Italian style followed by a talk this Wednesday 25th May.

Shot in the streets of New York, the series of images shot and styled by Farinella and Gilligan are inspired by Italian American heritage. The images feature clothes from Italian designers such as Gucci and Marni, as well as designers produced in Italy, like Stella McCartney. Farinella and Gilligan will be talking through the process that lead them to the final set images at 'For the Love of Italian Style’ this Wednesday, 25th May. T
