This week we met Fionnuala Short, who was the 2014 Miss Louth. Being a beauty queen means she has to look glamorous 24/7, not an easy task. Her look this week is edgy glamour, with her leather jacket providing the edge, while still keeping it smart with a tailored pencil skirt.
1. Scarf From the Makers & Brothers store, €28, by Studio Donegal, makers of a cosy selection of beautiful wool scarves, all hand woven on Ireland's Atlantic coast. Locally spun, the thick, luxury yarn used in these scarves has the world renowned Donegal fleck running through it – perfect for chilly days all year round. I love to support Irish design and Makers & Brothers make it so easy to do just that. Shop in their store on Dame Lane in Dublin city centre or online. makersandbrothers.com
2. Skirt COS raw edge melange skirt, €89. Structured raw edge design from COS. This beautiful skirt suits all occasions. Its simple design will complement any outfit.
3. Bag I know there is nothing more annoying than telling someone their bag is nice and hearing the reply "It's vintage", but if you are going to invest in a good leather bag, vintage is the only way to go. This fringed leather beauty is from Rokit Vintage in London. Most vintage stores have websites, and Etsy is a great place to search for that desired piece. For those of us who love a good rummage, there are loads of vintage shops and markets all over Dublin city centre.
4. Black bodysuit Topshop €22 High Neck Jersey Body. I love a bodysuit, they may be the adult version of a babygrow, but they are neat and keep you lovely and warm. This Topshop version is simple and versatile.
5. Black biker jacket This piece is fast becoming the uniform of the 18-25s. It's the best item of clothing you will buy this year. Nine Crows, at 5 Ormond Quay Lower in Dublin have a range of reworked vintage ones for €120.
