There’s nothing like a well-written menu to heighten an appetite and Ireland’s hot ticket restaurants have some good things in store for visitors to Taste of Dublin (June 12th-15th). The organisers have reduced ticket prices, and participating restaurants have upped their game to see whose dish will become the event’s bestseller. Rock Lobster will be offering a half lobster with butter, and Ranelagh newcomer Brioche has chosen coquilles St Jacques to showcase its kitchen’s talents. Expect to queue for The Chop House’s Irish Hereford rump steak with chunky chips, and Diep le Shaker’s Irish spring lamb Kae Yang. Il Primo went through a whole wheel of 24-month aged Parmesan at this event last year, and they’ll be cracking open another for their risotto. The Green Hen will offer a rabbit, truffle sponge and parsnip dish. Clodagh’s Kitchen’s dish will be crab cake with lemon and mint aioli. Chapter One will host a dessert station with lots of tempting treats to round-off a whistlestop tour of some of Ireland’s top restaurants’ signature dishes. Ticket prices start at €15.
