Dublin Zoo isn't just home to animals from the wild side, there is also a city farm where you can get up close and personal with a variety of farmyard beasts.
The Agri-Aware farm reopened last weekend following a big rejig and now includes paddocks and an Irish meadow, wildflower beds, a playground and demonstration areas where you can see cows being milked, and even have a go, albeit on a plastic version (above). It squirts water, you'll be glad to hear. Take the kids once they've tired of the greenery at Bloom next week. See dublinzoo.ie.
