Our second Get Running course, this one designed to get people up to 10km, started last Sunday with thousands of readers having signed up to take their fitness to the next level.
There is still time to sign up if you want to do the course with the comfort of knowing that thousands of other people are also doing it at the same time. Simply fill out the form online at irishtimes.com/getrunning.
The eight-week course will finish in time to have you ready to take on the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon or any of the other 10km races taking place around the country this summer.
The only pre-requisite is that you can currently run for 30 minutes non-stop. If you are not currently at that level, you can still sign up for our beginners course which will get you there in eight weeks.
We know there’s nothing more inspiring for runners than to hear stories from others who have gone through similar journeys to get to their current levels of fitness. That’s why we’d love to hear how you are faring with Get Running.
Send us 250 words to fitness@irishtimes.com about how you’ve been getting on and if we publish your story, we’ll send you a Get Running T-shirt.
Even if you don't want to share your story, we'd still love to hear any feedback you have on Get Running at the same email address. You can also contribute any thoughts or suggestions on our Facebook page at facebook.com/
