Lisney is quoting a premium of £120,000 for the leasehold interest of Rothery's furniture store at the junction of Exchequer Street and Drury Street, Dublin 2, which goes to auction on July 14th. The well fitted open-plan ground floor has 837 sq ft and there is a staircase leading to a 735 sq ft basement, which is part retail and part storage. The shop is held under a 50-year lease until October, 2000 at a rent of £300 per annum. In nearby Wicklow Street, T Maguire Clothing Manufacturers has paid key money of £130,000 for the leasehold interest in Number 26, previously occupied by Ecco Shoes. The company will be paying a rent of £41,000 for the 594 sq ft shop, which will trade under David Thomas.
