The most unusual sale of the week involves an end-of-terrace Georgian building at 16 Nassau Street, Dublin 2. It is held under a 60-year lease which does not expire until the year 2007. The rent is fixed at £330 per annum but the building is let to the Northern Ireland Tourist Board for a term of 10 years from 1989 at £32,000 per annum. Lisney is now inviting offers over £170,000 for the leasehold investment.
