OFFERS in excess of £300,000 are being sought for the newly restored Manor House on Rathlin Island, off the north coast of Co Antrim.
Dating from 1756, the house has been restored by the Rathlin Island Trust, which wants it to be run as a hotel or guesthouse. Another part of the building containing a communal room and sleeping accommodation for 23 is run as an activity, centre. The Manor House has several fine reception rooms and 13 bedrooms, as well as a manager's flat. The sale is being handled by agents James H McKinney and Sons of Ballymena.
