Gunne expect to secure in the region of £450,000 for a retail and residential premises at 8/9 Wexford Street, Dublin 2, which is to be auctioned on March 10th. The retail business traded as Hectors Superstore and has 1,200 sq ft on the ground floor and mezzanine offices with 460 sq ft.

There is a four-bedroom apartment on the first floor and similar accommodation at second-floor level. In the city centre, Robert O'Dolan has secured planning permission to demolish the existing ground-floor shop at 27 Bachelors Walk and to replace it with a four-storey, over-basement building, with retail units in the basement and on the first floor, and a 13 bedroom hostel on the upper floors.

Also on Bachelor's Walk, Jindra has lodged a planning application to change the use of a retail premises at No. 30 to a public house and restaurant.

When redeveloped, the building will have a bar and restaurant at ground and basement level and three apartments in the upper floors.
