Lisney has secured over £550,000 in two lots for five industrial investments at Blackhorse Industrial Estate in Dublin 7. The units have a total of 14,800 sq ft, which are let under three separate letting agreements at a rent of £28,500. A building of 4,000 sq ft is currently vacant. The agents had been quoting a pre-auction guide price of £375,00-plus.
The same agents secured £945,000 at auction for a housing site of 30,000 sq ft at Mounttown, close to the centre of Dun Laoghaire.
A site for one or more mews houses at 22/24 Waterloo Lane, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, made £850,000 at a deVere White and Smyth auction.
Also in Ballsbridge, The Kiosk, opposite Jury's Hotel, at Pembroke Road, was withdrawn at a Gunne auction at £155,000, and is under negotiation. The 48 sq ft kiosk is let to O'Brien's Sandwich Bar at a rent of £16,500 per annum. The investment is being sold by property developer Phil Monahan, who bought it in 1989 for £132,000.
In Clontarf, DTZ Sherry FitzGerald secured £320,000 at auction for a retail-office investment at 54 Clontarf Road, which is producing rents of £21,000.
