J.J. Doherty's engineering supplies company is to sell its Dublin offices and store at 36 Lower Gardiner Street, Dublin 1, where it has been in business since 1927. The company will trade in future trade from a new, purpose-built plant at Summerhill, Co Meath. BFR Estates expects to secure about £600,000 for the four-storey over basement premises, which has a total of 7,200 sq ft. The sale also includes a 1,678 sq ft store, which was originally used as a hay barn from which to feed horses drawing carts with engineering supplies to the railways.
