What and where
A three bedroom traditional country farmhouse, built in the early 1900s, with stone granary and outbuildings. It has beautiful views of the Roscommon countryside.

Why are you moving?
We moved to this part of the country seven years ago with my father who lived with us. He has since passed away and my husband and I would now like to move to a smaller place.
That coupled with the change in direction of my husband's business which means he now travels to Northern Ireland most weeks. We are looking to move closer to that part of the country.
The best thing about your property?
The peace and tranquillity, the openness, the great feeling of space and lovely views of the countryside. The fact that we have a megalithic tomb visible from the house. The great neighbours and the closeness to the town. If our circumstances hadn't changed so much I would not want to move away.
My father was a master carpenter and all of the wood work in our house was carried out by him. We shall be sad to leave it.
And the neighbourhood?
The historic town of Boyle is just two miles away and it has great facilities including schools (a school bus drives past our door), a library, gym, post office, banks and supermarkets.
In Ballinultha itself we have great community spirit with neighbours who are always ready to help out.
Who would like your home?
Teach Solas would be great for a family. The granary would be useful if a grandparent needed somewhere independent to live. It is also a good place to house noisy teenagers! Animal lovers would also like this house as there is plenty of space for both dogs and horses.
