Honorary memberships of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) were conferred last week on Seán Benton, former chairman of the OPW; Dick Gleeson, Dublin City Council's chief planning officer, and Frank McDonald, Environment Editor of The Irish Times.
The trio got their awards for contributions to the advancement of architecture in Ireland - thanks to former RIAI president Seán Ó Laoire, who has handed over to Paul Keogh.
