The Dublin haulage company, Ascot Freight, is understood to have paid £1.7 million (€2.16m) for a warehouse property on five acres of land in Kinsealy, north County Dublin. The five acres are part of the 143-acre grounds of Kinsealy Castle owned by the McCann family, whose interests include the Fyffe's fruit company. Agents Harrington Bannon acted for Ascot Freight, while Keane Mahony Smith and Hamilton Osborne King acted for the vendors.
