Fast food retailer McDonalds is to open a large outlet in a new premises under construction at the junction of Jervis Street and Mary Street, Dublin 1. The 12,000 sq ft block is being built by John Keating, who has moved his bar business to a nearby premises, The Keg, on Jervis Street. McDonalds are understood to be paying a rent of around £275,000 for the fourstorey building, part of which is likely to be sub-let. Larry Brennan of Hamilton Osborne King, who handled the letting, said he was not in a position to confirm a deal at this stage.
