Boots Chemists has sold the leases of three retail units formerly occupied by Connors Chemists, before the group was taken over by the UK multiple. Boots agents Lambert Smith Hampton secured a premium of £85,000 for the leasehold interest of a 4,683 sq ft unit at The Square in Tallaght, which is rented at £160,000 per annum. Electricals retailer Dixons acquired the lease.

Another trader, Scars, paid £35,000 key money for a unit of 1,831 sq ft and 1,200 sq ft of storage space at Market Cross Shopping Centre in Kilkenny. The rent here was £32,000. The Jean Scene paid £35,000 for the lease of the Connors store at Golden Island Shopping Centre in Athlone, where the 39,812 sq ft unit is rented at £32,000.
