A two-bedroom cottage-style bungalow in Saggart, Co Dublin, has been sold for £255,000 at auction. The 700-sq ft house on 0.45 acres at Churchview, Saggart, about nine miles from Dublin's city centre, was sold through auctioneer Tom Maher.

Elsewhere in south Dublin, a three-bedroom semi-detached bungalow at 5 Seafield Crescent in Booterstown was sold at auction for £421,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Sandymount, a two-bedroom mid-terrace house at 4 Havelock Terrace off Bath Avenue was withdrawn at auction; agent Sherry FitzGerald is now quoting £345,000.

In Ranelagh, a four-bedroom mid-terrace residence at 71 Moyne Road was withdrawn at £520,000 and sold after auction for over £540,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Clonskeagh, a four-bedroom detached house in need of modernisation at 15 Leinster Lawn, Dublin 14, was withdrawn at auction. Agent Sherry FitzGerald is now seeking offers in the region of £580,000.

In Clontarf in north Dublin, a four-bedroom semi-detached house at 38 Castlegrove was sold at auction for £415,000 through Davy Freeman Mitten.

In Finglas, a two-bedroom semi-detached cottage on 0.25 acres at Johnstown, North Road, was sold at auction for £170,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Dublin 7, a nine-bedroom bungalow at 185 New Cabra Road was sold at auction for £330,000 through T E Potterton.

Outside Dublin, in Newtownmountkennedy, Co Wicklow, the Mill House, a two-bedroom house on two acres, was withdrawn at auction and sold later for £550,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Co Kildare, a three-bedroom semi-detached bungalow at 480 Straffan Road, Maynooth was sold at auction for £153,000 through Brady & Co.

Also in Co Kildare, a three-bedroom farmhouse in need of modernisation on 97 acres at Corballis, Castledermot was sold at auction for £620,000 through Jordan Auctioneers.

And in Kilcock, Co Kildare, a four-bedroom bungalow on 3.6 acres at Nicholastown was sold at auction for £230,000 through Coonan Auctioneers.

A three-bedroom cottage on 0.5 acres, Moorehill Cottage at Brannockstown, Co Kildare was sold at auction for £211,000 through Andrew J Nolan & Associates.

In Co Meath, the Thatch, a three-bedroom cottage on one acre at Kilcarty, Dunsany, was sold at auction for £365,000 through T E Potterton. At Ballyfallon, Athboy, Co Meath, eight acres of land was withdrawn at £34,000 and sold immediately afterwards by the same agent.

In Co Waterford, a derelict cottage on 2.5 acres, Old World Cottage at Coxtown, Dunmore East was sold at auction for £169,000 through John Rohan.

In Co Kilkenny, a five-bedroom residence on 1.4 acres at Talbots Wood, Talbots Inch was withdrawn at £400,000 and is under negotiation through McCreery Auctioneers.

In Co Westmeath, a five-bedroom residence on seven acres, Strand House at Walshestown, Mullingar was withdrawn at £380,000 and is under negotiation through Murtagh Bros.

Commercial properties sold included Andy's Bar Licensed Premises at Balscadden, Balbriggan, Co Dublin, which made £550,000 through Sullivan Estate Agents.

In Waterford, a three-storey terraced building in need of refurbishment at 34 Georges Street was sold at auction for £175,000 through John Rohan Auctioneers.
