Dublin's Capel Street is to get a new pub. John Ryan of Gunne is to let a new bar in Capel Buildings, a newly refurbished building which forms part of a scheme of apartments. Zoe Developments acquired the licence attached to Cleary's, of Church Street, and moved it to the Capel Street building which has 2,500 sq ft a street level and similar space in the basement. Whoever rents the premises will be able to claim double rent allowances and a remission of rates. While Gunne is not providing a guideline price, it is thought likely that the rent will be between £100,000 and £150,000 per annum.

Gunne is also seeking about £750,000 for The Traders Wharf bar and restaurant, at Dun Laoghaire Shopping Centre, Co Dublin, which is to be sold by private treaty.
