Co Cavan: from €470,000Luxurious four and five bedroom homes with sustainablefeatures are for sale at a lakeside in Co Cavan.

Joint agents Mason Gavigan and Liam Reilly are handling the sale of Loch Eala in the village of Loch Gowna, 20 minutes south west of Cavan town.

The scheme, developed by Carrignagour, is a low carbon emission development which will have an A2 rating under the new Building Energy Rating (BER), which comes into effect in the new year.

There are eight different styles to choose from and all homes have cut-stone exteriors, slate roofs, stone sills and lintels.

There are high ceilings throughout and all internal joinery is solid oak.

Kitchens have granite worktops, double sinks with waste disposal units and built-in wine racks. All houses have a utility room.

Bathrooms have tile televisions and water jet baths. There is underfloor heating throughout the houses and individual temperature control in each room.

The houses have a central sound system, CCTV cameras, home cinemas and a central vacuum system.

They have an air-water pump heating system and a solar-powered hot water.
