The sliding doors hide everything, disguise its function and have something of a 1950s look.

This shop has some other clever pieces of CD storage - also ask about a square piece made from wood (€235) that has a number of squares cut out in such a way that CDs sit snugly into each with the title side facing out.

Cherry CD panel €1,291 at Bellisima: also available in natural oak and various lacquered colours, the horizontal slots on this wall-mounted panel can hold up to 156 CDs. While part of an overall furniture system for holding various pieces of entertainment equipment, it can be bought alone. A striking piece, be careful where you place it or this could end up dominating a room.
