Church expected to secure £1.75m for Templeogue land

The Catholic Arch Diocese is expected to secure in excess of £1

The Catholic Arch Diocese is expected to secure in excess of £1.75 million for a development site for about 50 houses at Willington Road, in Templeogue, Dublin 14. Donal O'Buachalla is to sell the 4.3-acre site at auction on July 29th. Jack Devlin of the selling agents says he expects strong interest in the site from housebuilders because of its prime location. The site forms part of a larger holding originally acquired by the diocese for two national schools, a convent, retreat house and a youth centre. The proceeds of the sale are to be used on a parochial centre and on the refurbishment of St Jude's Church.
