A new-build office and retail investment in the heart of Belfast's office area has been sold in an off-the-market deal by agents, Insignia Richard Ellis Gunne, for a reported £2.95 million sterling. The building has a number of leases including a 35-year letting on the ground floor to the UK pub multiple, J D Wetherspoons, while two floors above are let to the BBC. The agents report an initial yield of 6.9 per cent.
Ms Deborah Wiggins of the selling agent said the deal shows that demand for quality office investments is still ripe in Belfast city centre and there remains a lack of good quality stock available.
She added: "This transaction illustrates the level of return achieved for quality mixed-use investments and that there is still healthy demand in this sector of the market."
