The next phase of Melbury Developments apartment scheme on the edge of Citywest golf course in Saggart, Co Dublin, goes on the market this week. Described by the developers as "one of the most unique and original apartment schemes" of the year, they are now to take bookings for a further 35.

The completed Tassagard Green development will have 92 apartments in seperate, three-storey buildings called Sacre, Slade and Swift.

The two-bedroom units coming on the market measure from 1,000 to 1,500 sq ft. The penthouses are larger, measuring from 1,500 to 2,500 sq ft. Apartment prices start from £215,000. Penthouse units start at £350,000.

The design style at Tassagard Greens combines mezzanine levels, cathedral ceilings and turret windows. Standard features include a fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops and Neff appliances, gas-fired central heating with marble fireplace and coal- effect fire. All of the apartments have en suites with bath and seperate shower and are fully tiled. There are two parking spaces allocated to each apartment.

All the upper level units have balconies and the completed development will have landscaped gardens.

Viewing Monday to Friday is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at weekends from 2p.m. to 5 p.m.

Six four-bedroom houses will be released for the first time this week from the £20m Mount Wolseley Hotel Golf and Country Club development at Tullow, Co Carlow. Located in Wolseley Park, which overlooks the seventeenth fairway, they have floor measurements of some 1,650 sq ft, qualify for Section 23 type allowances and are fully furnished. Prices start at £180,000 plus VAT and furnishing.

This week also sees the launch of the second phase of Wolseley Court, a cluster of larger houses directly overlooking the third green. Four of these will be available, all with floor areas of some 1,850 sq ft, and first-floor livingrooms whose balconies take advantage of the views.

Prices in Wolseley Court start at £240,000. The first 50 houses in Mount Wolseley were sold last year.

Spread in clusters around the Christy O'Connor designed golf course they all have views of the course. Internal design features include curved walls and raised kitchen areas. Prices are from £145,000 for the houses to £120,000 for the apartments.

Joint selling agents Patrick G Dawson & Sons of Tullow and Hooke & MacDonald, Dublin, have found both houses and apartments popular with owner occupiers and investors. Show units can be seen this Saturday and Sunday between 2.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m.
