The computer company Zomac has leased the first block of 30,000 sq ft in Woodford Business Park at the old Swords Road near Dublin Airport. The company will be paying a rent of £15.75 per sq ft and £350 for car-parking space when it relocates from its city centre premises next spring. The office block is the first to be developed on the site by Bill Kilmurray's Woodford Developments group which has planning permission for almost 100,000 sq ft. The company has been developing industrial units in the same area for the past few years. The Zomac building was prefunded by Aberdeen Asset Managers on behalf of Scottish Provident. An adjoining building of 15,000 sq ft is nearing completion and is available for letting through joint agents Hamilton Osborne King, DTZ Sherry FitzGerald and Quinn Agnew. Ganly Walters acted for Zomac.
Mr Kilmurray will also be involved shortly in the development of around 800,000 sq ft of offices and over 1,000 apartments on at nearby Santry.
