Knight Frank Ganly Walters secured €3.3 million at auction for Piperstown House, Drogheda, Co Louth, a Georgian house on 30 acres. In Co Tipperary, a stud farm on 92 acres with a Georgian house and 28 stables, Kilbrennal House Stud, Ballynonty, Killenaule, Thurles, was withdrawn at auction and is now quoting €3.7 million, also through Frank Ganly Walter. In Co Kildare, 82 acres of agricultural land at Kishavanna, Carbery was withdrawn at €1 million and is under negotiation quoting €2.5 million through the same agent.
Elsewhere, a three-bed villa-style mid-terrace house, 6 Adelaide Road, Glasthule, Co Dublin, sold for around €995,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.
A three-bed semi, 23 Sandyford Hall Crescent, Sandyford, Dublin 18, sold by private treaty for over €625,000 through Sherry FitzGerald and the same agent secured in the region of €570,000 for a two-bedroom end-of-terrace townhouse, 9 Ralph Mews, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, Co Dublin. In Dublin 15, a three-bed house, 48 Hollystown Park, Hollystown, sold for €715,000 through Baxter Auctioneers.
In Galway city, a five-bed detached house, 29 Hazelwood, Taylors Hill, sold at auction for €1.04 million through O'Donnellan and Joyce Auctioneers.
