More than 75 acres of industrial development land capable of taking 1.2 million sq ft of industrial buildings have been sold over the past year by Lark Developments at Rosemount Business Park, near Blanchardstown, in west Dublin. The developers have now begun marketing 170,000 sq ft of industrial and business space at the adjoining Northwest Business Park.

Lark is offering a design-and-build package to owners and tenants for units varying in size between 10,000 and 60,000 sq ft. Sherry FitzGerald reports that interest in the next phase has come both from owner-occupiers and tenants.

Companies which have already made a commitment include Irish Express Cargo, GEC Distributors, Variety Foods, Famac Distribution, Network International Cargo, Howley Distribution Services, Tractamotors and Europa Freight.

One of the strong selling points of Northwest is its proximity to the IDA's industrial estate and the M50.
