Prices start at £259,500 (€329,500) for these roomy 1,900 sq ft houses, which are located just off the Dublin road a few minutes walk from the village.

As the development is in its final phase, several of the larger houses at the entrance are already occupied and the landscaping is maturing. There are a total of 57 detached houses in the entire scheme. Buyers in the current phase can take possession in a few weeks' time and the site will be free of bulldozers by the end of the summer. The remaining 10 houses are to be sold in early summer.

The houses have spacious sittingrooms, chestnut Shaker-style kitchens and large utility rooms. A study to the front of the house could be pressed into use as a family room or TV den. Off the hall are a cloakroom with plenty of storage room and a downstairs toilet.
