Naas, with its first-class amenities and rural surroundings, continues to be a popular upgrade location for house buyers prepared to move outside the city.
When McInerney Construction released eight four-bedroom detached houses at its Mill Lane development off the Sallins road, in Naas, late last year, they were sold out within days. A further seven detached houses, each with 1,510 sq ft, are being offered for sale this weekend, priced at £189,950. These have an integral garage that could be converted into additional living space if required.
So far, 30 houses have been built in this development and when it is completed, there will be a 47 houses in three culs-de-sac. Mill Lane looks out on the stone walls of Old Town estate with its mature woodlands.
The area is bounded on one side by a stream with landscaped banks and the Grand Canal is close by. The new houses have a long entrance hall. There is a downstairs guest cloakroom off the hallway. The reception rooms are spacious, with decorative covings and panelled doors. The livingroom has an attractive bay window and a fireplace that is piped for gas. This leads to the diningroom, which has glass doors to an outside terrace.
There is a large kitchen/ breakfastroom with fitted units and doors to the back garden. A utility area is off this. Upstairs, there are four large bedrooms; the main bedroom is en suite. A family bathroom is also at this level.
Outside, front and back gardens are fenced and seeded.
