Dublin estate agents Hooke and MacDonald, who have handled the sale of thousands of apartments in the Dublin inner city over the past decade, are holding a conference on urban renewal at the Radisson St Helen's Hotel in Stillorgan on October 6th. There will be free admission to the conference, which will have as its theme "millennium rejuvenation in Dublin."
It will be opened by the Lord Mayor, Mary Freehill. Other speakers will include the Minister for Housing and Urban Renewal, Bobby Molloy; David Cantwell, a director of the agency; Terry Devey of Heritage Properties and Jim Keogan, Dublin Corporation. Joe Tiernan, president of the Construction Industry Federation, will chair a question and answer session and he will be joined by Finian Matthews, principal officer, Department of the Environment, and Cathal Maxwell, Irish Mortgage Corporation.
