There is about 10,000 sq ft under construction.
Major deals include the sale of 3.4 hectares to Panasonic at Sandford Industrial Est for £6.5 million (€8.25), 0.81 hectares on Pottery Road, D·n Laoghaire for £4.25 million (€5.4m) (Lisney).
Planning permission was refused for a mixed commercial scheme at Fassaroe in Bray which would have included about 250,000 sq ft of industrial space.
North West
This region represents 37 per cent of overall supply.
1.3 million sq ft of new space was developed this year.
Schemes include Northwest Business Park, Rosemount Business Park, Blanchardstown Corporate Park, Millennium Business Park, Horizon Business Park, North Park, Century Business Park, Northern Cross Business Park.
Major deals this year include the sale of two sites on the North Road in Finglas, 2.1 acres for £3.5 million (€4.44m) and 1.6 acres for £2.7 million (€3.43m) and Lucent Technologies' acquisition of approximately 200,000 sq ft of space at Snugborough Industrial Park.
North East
This region has 20 per cent of overall supply.
A further 300,000 sq ft is currently under construction.
The majority of development was concentrated in the Clonshaugh area, with the IDA estate and Gateway being two of the biggest schemes. Most of the industrial located here is high tech.
Currently there is 300,000 sq ft of vacant stock.
