The owner of 74 Turret Road revamped the exterior of his house while also boosting its energy performance with windows from Ecolodge (01-610 0736).

The windows, which are from Slovenia, are solid larch on the inside and aluminium clad on the outside. These tilt-and-turn, two-wing windows can be opened fully if required.

The windows are well sealed for high energy performance. The insulated front door - an Ecolodge MT door - has a static side panel. Similar custom-made windows and front door will cost about €12,000- €15,000.

You can design your own front door at no extra cost, which can work well if you want a contemporary version of the original front doors in your estate.

These windows and doors are in Pearl Mouse Grey, but there are over 1,000 colours to choose from.
