While some estate agents are tearing their hair out trying to find buyers for second-hand homes, Eoin O'Neill of Ross McParland has been inundated with bookings for Edwardian-style new homes at Charleville Square, off Butterfield Avenue, Rathfarnham. He sold most of the terraced and detached homes last weekend. There was also a buyer for the five-bedroom detached house, complete with furnishings, which made a cool £1 million. Meanwhile, in Clonskeagh, a development of large detached houses at Coolgreany, off Nutgrove Park, with prices from £800,000, has been less than successful. The scheme is being relaunched by Gunne, which, in an attempt to stir up interest held a cocktail party yesterday evening in the showhouse.
