Eircell have taken 48,000 sq ft of high tech office space at Blackthorn Road, Sandyford, Co Dublin, at a rent of £800,000. The rent equates to £16 per sq ft and £650 each for 115 car parking spaces. The building is the first of several new office blocks due to come on stream in Sandyford over the next few months. The building is being developed by P Elliott and Co of Cavan on conjunction with a private consortium. It is understood that Irish Life is buying the building for around £13 million.
The letting was handled by Gunne; DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald advised Aircell and Lisney acted for Irish Life.
