A former shirt factory on an acre of development land just off Belfast's "Golden Mile" has sold for well over the £2.5 million sterling through agents Alexander Kinnaird. The old Albion shirt factory, between Great Victoria Street and Sandy Row in Wellwood Street, is prime for office and apartment development. Local developer Andras House has recently submitted plans for a £60 million hotel, leisure, office and apartment development a short distance away on Great Victoria Street.
The six-storey factory building has about 74,000 sq ft of space, which would be suitable for apartment conversion.
